I am really not sure what i want to post about. I think i am going to start a short series on night photography. well lets start with these.

New things..

I like to take slice of life photos.. like this one. I enjoy the way this makes me hungry and it looks like its just friends having a good time.. and that is what it is.

So i have a fascination with gears. Mostly clockworks and such.. here are some pictures of clock gears .. the size is misleading.

i think there are 30 balloons in this shot alone.. truly the balloon fiesta is a wonderful site.. much better and more amazing in person then any photograph can capture.

A Beautiful Thing

It's not often I get a chance to talk about what I do for work or I should say get the chance to show the result of what I do. This first photograph is of a sculpture by Ken Payne:

This piece could be extremely difficult for even the seasoned bronze caster. We cast this in one piece, first try. The wax was fairly thin, and we used minimal gaiting. I know not everyone understands this, but it is a beautiful thing. Here's a close-up of the wheel:

I'm sorry the colors don't match on these two photographs. I am still showing the photographs as individual pieces of photography. They serve a secondary function as my reference for what I do. Thank you, goodnight.

NABLO POMO

Well here it is.. Number One.. or #1... the first of many this month. I have decided to Join this NABLO POMO....!!!!

This is mostly just a photo blog. I post mostly only photos. perhaps after a week of this i will have more to say.

This is all done with long exposure and a little flashlight.
